In committing to Black liberation, community is the key binding ingredient that can’t be missed. We thrive in community. Actively engaging in and building community is an act of reclamation. Especially because, we live in a society that teaches us to adopt individualism, which disconnects us from ourselves and others —our humanity. In building community, we can work to repair the harm that is done by believing that we’re alone or that we must handle and do things on our own. It helps us to heal, to grow and to do life feeling more seen, supported and connected

About Our School
Shine Bright School is a membership community for people devoted to collective liberation. Through reflection, repair, creativity, and community, we offer a practice that is steady, embodied work that invites us to transform — and the world around us. This work is intentionally paced. Honest. Grounded. Structured to sustain you as much as it challenges you.
The Shine Library is a living collection of anti-racism education, Black liberation frameworks, inner work, parenting, personal identity, and community accountability — built over years of teaching and accessible to every member from day one.
It does not expire. It does not rotate out. It expands.
New work is added each quarter as we move through the four pillar seasons. The library meets you where you are now — and where you will be in a year.
